How do you launch a new concept fitness centre? Make a first and resonating impression with strategic and unique visual graphics that are impossible to ignore and hard to resist.
12RND Fitness approached SIGNWAVE Newcastle with the primary objective of getting their brand - as the first gym of its kind within the region - noticed by their target audience.
Before the gym was operational, 12RND Fitness had a pop-up store within a shopping centre that required lots of promotional material to raise awareness and excitement about the imminent opening. “They really wanted to take the centre by storm!” said June White, owner of SIGNWAVE Newcastle.
Within the gym itself, they also wanted to create a motivating and fun environment for gym-goers – something different to any other ‘typical gym’ atmosphere.
The last thing they asked of SIGNWAVE was to help achieve a sense of privacy for the members and staff – away from the view of the foot traffic of shoppers within the wider complex.
Hit the ground running
The result was an exciting, successful grand opening and the gym received its first 50 members in around 2-3 weeks.
"This project was so successful and rewarding for both the client and ourselves," said June. "We began and maintain such a great relationship with 12RND Fitness that we have continued to work with them on a monthly basis since launch in August 2016. The business has become so well-known and so popular that they are opening a second gym in Lambton, NSW and we have already started working on the signage. Time for round two!"
