SIGNWAVE® Bolstered by Parent Company’s 2015 Achievements

SIGNWAVE, the leading visual communications/sign and graphics franchise with more than 600 centres worldwide (known as FASTSIGNS internationally) is poised to make 2016 its best year yet – strengthened by a string of recent accolades and milestones for parent company, FASTSIGNS.

FASTSIGNS has maintained its reputation as one of the world’s most successful franchise groups with a number of achievements, including:

  • Ranked No. 1 in Franchise Business Review’s (FBR) Top 200 Franchises list - Business Services category. The FBR Top 200 is a comprehensive ranking of the top US franchises based on franchisee satisfaction. For the 2016 report, FBR surveyed 28,000 franchise operators who represent 339 brands.
  • No. 1 Franchise on Franchise Gator Top 100 List. Franchise Gator, an online franchise directory, developed the rankings as a way for prospective franchisees in the US to identify opportunities with strong growth potential that are also affordable investments for the average franchise buyer.
  • A record-breaking financial year. In 2016, FASTSIGNS signed more than 50 franchise agreements, opened more than 40 units and reached global revenues of $US400 million – an all-time high for the company.
  • Opened its 600th FASTSIGNS centre.

FASTSIGNS International, Inc. CEO Catherine Monson says the company’s US success is indicative of its positive global outcomes and prospects: “Robust franchise expansion will continue in 2016 domestically and in key international markets. Our company is experiencing a high demand in franchise sales globally due to the rising worldwide need for visual communications and digital signage technology.”

“These awards further demonstrate how invested we as a group are in the success of franchisees,” said Dean Rowland, SIGNWAVE Australia’s franchise development manager. “The FASTSIGNS global franchise network is complemented by our strong and viable business model and SIGNWAVE’s strong positive results again in 2015 proves its reach.

“One of our key differentiators is we are in the business of supporting franchisees first and then growing our network off the back of their success and in markets where we know there is strong client demand for our service based offering. We are more interested in market-savvy expansion –  more emphasis on developing a strategic amount of quality operations than opening hundreds of centres anywhere and everywhere. In the past six months we have employed an additional two franchise support personnel to ensure all centres have access to all the tools, resources and expertise required to achieve optimal results for both franchisees and the franchise as a whole.”

Said Linda Sultmann, general manager of SIGNWAVE Australia, “I have just returned from FASTSIGN’s annual International Convention where I have witnessed once again, first-hand the great achievements of centres from around the world as well as the latest, best educational resources available to our franchisees. The entire event was further verification of what a commercially sound investment it is to work within the FASTSIGNS/SIGNWAVE network.”
